Just wait until Bandits are introduced :)Īs for now, I have found a delightful server to play on. Dying Light tried to give people an optional, non-mandatory ending sequence and people hated them for it because it wasn't a super badass boss fight. These people haven't played vanilla versions of almost any Fallout title to the end. Some people don't understand the contradiction between open-world and an ending. This sacrifice however allows for a far greater level of possible immersion within a single world or experience.Īnother thing you do not usually get in open-world titles is an ending. You have to make some sacrifices in open-world titles that you do not in linear gameplay titles that have the benefit of being able to control everything from level of difficulty to entire environments based upon where the character is in the games progression. Because of this sacrifice, early-game is generally more difficult, where late-game your combined skill with accumulated gear allow you to ignore some of the difficulties to focus on greater elements that you generally cannot in the early game. You would need far more linear gameplay to support varied levels of difficulty. In an open-world title there aren't variable levels of difficulty to deal with. It SHOULD get easier in a lot of respects towards the end game.

Once i fortified my shelter and got my production going. I just wish there would be some kind of danger lurking in the dark. What would you guys like to see to improve the lategame? Did you guys encounter any trouble in the late game?ĭid i somehow miss are really dangerous area? And thats the only point i got with that kind of survival game. But, well, i got nearly unlimited amount of amo and thanks to my awesome exploration skills i got also a nice weapon variety. Sure max difficulty and highest spawnrate makes it tough. But at a certain point its really not that dangerous anymore. found a lot of stuff and blew zombies up with TNT. Thats what makes survival games cool, right?īut well, i build different kind of bases. You get shelter find food and storage build up weapons. one might argue "wow dude, chill, that's how it supposed to be". I love survival games.īut what most survival games have in common is that the game keeps going easier the further you come. Don't get me wrong i do like 7 days to die and to be honest here. Had a couple of days ago checked out the progess they made so far.
